The African UBUNTUness shining.

And the fun planning continues...

I have 115 days left to do all the planning that I can possibly do to make this trip happen.
I am besides myself with excitement already.
I have a lot of surprises for you guys that MIGHT be revealed a few days before I start the trip or I might not even tell you guys and you will just have to stay glued to this website J all in the name of keeping you entertained and wanting more.
Remember, anyone who wants to come with me is invited. I still have space in my first aid kit. I am pretty sure I can fold someone and they will fit in there.

In much greater news, a lot of kind hearted Africans have come to the planning and have offered me to stay with them J The UBUNTUness of Africans will shine through on this adventure. I will bring Africa one passport stamp at a time and the whole Africa will shine.
I have been asked by other Africans why I am not going through their countries on this adventure. Well, I can’t go from Kenya in the East to Nigeria in the west just to get back to Cairo. But do not stress, the wanderlust soul will find itself in your country soon. It is just a matter of time.

These are the guys that have come to the party. Fear not, check out their websites and should you find yourself in their parts of the continent, pay them a visit and tell them #TheSoloWanderer sent you, with love.

And here's to hoping we can fill this table up real soon.

Finding Ugandan beer from the source - Nile Special Lager. A 6 day itinerary

November 2019 was the beginning of Africa through beer out of South Africa. Together with SAB World of Beer we ran a competition to encourage South Africans to visit Africas only beer museum in Newtown Johannesburg. The winners got a chance to travel to Uganda with me as their guide discovering the beers in Uganda from the source of the Nile.  I have a 6-day itinerary for your adventures in East Africas adventure capital. The itinerary applies for both affordable and luxury travel.  ***Please note that these amounts shared are merely an estimate and guidelines towards the cost of your travels. Traveling to Uganda - Things to know

Welcome to Uganda. Welcome to the Pearl of Africa. Today I will be sharing with you information that you need to know before visiting the Pearl of Africa, Uganda. Uganda is a landlocked country in central East Africa. It is found in the great lakes region of Africa. The southern part of the country includes a substantial part of lake Victoria which the country shares with Kenya and Tanzania. The country lies in within the Nile basin and has a generally modified equatorial climate. View this post on Instagram Country #35 I wont lie, on landing in #Uganda I cried. Exploring Lagos - On a budget

So many times I have tried to find the words to explain the city of Lagos to someone and so many times words fail me. This is not a city you can try to describe, but it definitely a city you have to visit. Good day Lagos, how do you do?!? I miss you. Love always: Onyekachi (This is my Nigerian name meaning: Who's greater than God?) #BreakingBorders #Thesolowanderer A post shared by Katchie Nzama (@thesolowandera) on Mar 22, 2018 at 2:28am PDT I can best describe my relationship with Lagos as one of a person in an abusive relationship. I arrived in Lagos after 4 months of the toughest travels across West Africa, within a week I was bedridden with Malaria and I was out of action for 2 weeks popping horse tranquilizer sized pills and capsules (My doctors were amazing but I will never forgive them for expecting me to swallow those vile things). Lagos found me at a stage of my travels were I was broken and just ready to break down and cry.  Not far...
